Nestled in the quaint town of Boring, Oregon, the North America Bigfoot Center beckons adventure seekers and cryptozoology enthusiasts alike. As we stepped through the doors of this mysterious haven, little did we know that our journey would be kick-started by none other than Cliff Barackman, the affable host of the hit show Finding Bigfoot.
Greeted by the Legend Himself: Our excitement peaked as we were warmly welcomed by a familiar face from the television screens. His passion for all things Bigfoot was palpable, setting the tone for an immersive and educational experience. Barackman’s anecdotes and insights into the elusive creature only fueled our anticipation for what lay ahead. A Day at the North America bigfoot Center – Unveiling the mysteries:

Exhibits that intrigue and educate:
The North America Bigfoot Center is a treasure trove of exhibits that showcase the rich history and lore surrounding Bigfoot. Unveiling the mysteries from footprint casts and audio recordings to detailed recreations of famous sightings, each display offers a glimpse into the mystique of the creature that has captured the imagination of generations.

One highlight for our son was “The Smell of Sasquatch Exhibit”. An intriguing experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in a sensory journey associated with the Bigfoot lore. This unique feature adds an extra layer to the exploration. Enthusiasts can ponder the mysteries surrounding Sasquatch while engaging in their sense of smell. Our daughter would say the Thermal Imaging Cameras were the best. While thermal imaging is noted as a cutting-edge tool in the quest to capture evidence of the illusive bigfoot, she was not so illusive. Our daughter captured some funny poses and might have shared a few dance moves with the camera! The North American Big Foot center is family friendly, and our kids had a great time exploring. Be sure to find the 3 hidden bigfoots for a fun sticker prize at the end!

Gift Shop Delights:
No visit would be complete without a stop at the North America Bigfoot Center’s gift shop. Even if you can’t do the museum the giftshop is a great stop. From quirky souvenirs to informative books, the offerings allow visitors to take a piece of their Bigfoot adventure home. My favorite purchase was a Bigfoot cookie cutter like this one. The kids loved the large variety of water bottle stickers. Of course you can’t leave without a pair of Cryptozoology pajamas! Whether you’re a seasoned researcher or a curious newcomer, the gift shop caters to all levels of interest.
